It has been a difficult year not only for our country, but for the world.
At a time when everyone is asking each other what is happening, talking about how to maintain hope despite everything, and trying to make sense of what is happening, we set out to "create hope from a child."
And in one of the times when humanity needed hope the most, we established the SEY Foundation.
When we established our foundation, we asked ourselves this question…
We all say that our future is entrusted to our children.
We say, what do we do?
Yes, when we say that our future is entrusted to our children, most of us do not think about what kind of world we offer to those children.
However, before we put the responsibility of the future on their shoulders, there is an important question we need to ask ourselves.
Do all children have access to quality education?
Unfortunately not…
The quality of education a child receives is determined not by his or her potential, but by the opportunities his or her parents provide him or her.
However, if our future is entrusted to all children, not just one, shouldn't all children be equal?
Although it may sound difficult to achieve absolute equality in education, I believe it is not impossible.
It is our duty to work to provide every child with the quality education they deserve and to make each one equal, free and strong.
It is our dream that the SEY Foundation, which we established with this belief and purpose, will enable many children to dream...
