Ömer Yücel was born in 1977 in the Piraziz district of Giresun.

He completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul University, Department of Mathematics.

After graduating, he started working at Bahçeşehir Uğur Educational Institutions, where he worked in many different fields for over 20 years.

Yücel, who is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Foundation, has supported the entrepreneurial activities of thousands of young people within Bahçeşehir University.

Known for his work to increase youth employment, Ömer Yücel also continues to serve as the president of the Bahçeşehir College Sports Club, which was established to encourage young people to love sports.

Yücel, who is also the president of the Healthy and Quality Life Foundation, is married and has two children.
