Alpaslan Aydın was born on November 9, 1973 in Izmir.

Due to the duties of his mother, a science teacher, and his father, a chief revenue controller, he continued his school life in different cities.

He completed his primary school in Izmir and his high school life in Istanbul.

He received his university education at Balıkesir University, School of Tourism Business and Hotel Management.

After completing his university education, he worked as a senior manager in the field of tourism in England for 10 years.

Subsequently, he worked as Expo manager in Japan for 1 year.

After working abroad and returning to Türkiye, Aydın joined the Bahçeşehir Uğur Educational Institutions family.

Having previously held different positions in the institution, Alpaslan Aydın continues to serve as the General Secretary of Bahçeşehir College Sports Club and the General Manager of the men's basketball team as of 2017. He is also the General Secretary of Plymouth Raiders, which plays in the English Basketball Super League.

Aydin speaks fluent English and is married with two children.
